Denis Therien
He began his career at Revenu Québec in 1975 and 1976 as a tax auditor and collection agent, and from 1976 to 1985 worked for two major accounting firms in Quebec;
He completed his BA in accounting at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 1979 and has been a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec since 1981;
He was a Teaching Assistant in Accounting at the Université du Québec à Montréal from 1982 to 1996 in the areas of audit and complex topics in accounting;
He was a professional inspector for the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec in 1985, completing 50 inspection mandates;
He led his accounting firm from 1985 to 2020 serving small business in several economic sectors;
He was involved in the establishment and development of a group of more than 50 accounting firms from 1992 to 2020, where he received several individual and collective honours for his significant involvement;
His firm merged with ours in January 2021 to ensure its sustainability, thus, continuing to serve his clients in the various areas of accounting expertise
